Peony season is here - the moment I imagined when I drew the petals of the Peony Bloom print back in January. Their coral combines with the warm, earthy terracotta of Jaipur pink in the tablecloths and napkins of this lunch setting.
The flowers are the hero of this table; what a joy to be able to use the first of the Coral Charm peonies pictured in the print.
I combined them with spring blossom, butterfly ranunculus and pale lemon ranunculus too. I love this jug - the stripes echo the edge of the tablecloth!

A Jaipur pink tablecloth in our bestselling peony print. The colour is inspired by the Coral Charm peony and the warm, earthy hue of the Pink City. Rosanna drew the print by hand. This design was then traced, cut into teak wood and block printed by the talented artisans with whom she works in Jaipur. The tablecloth is finished with a 6-inch contrast stripe.
Printed by hand, no two tablecloths are ever quite the same. Block printing is a technique handed down from generation to generation, whether it is the deft, delicate touch required to carve the motifs from teak or pear wood, or the light, exact tap used to stamp onto fabric.
